Aspect and object conjugation in Finno-Ugric
The talk will focus on the role of aspectual notions in licensing object conjugation in two Finno-Ugric languages, Moksha Mordvin and Kazym Khanty. In both languages, perfective verbs are more prone to agree with their objects, but the exact details and the hierarchy of factors are different.
